The "Self-Serve" recording service is a great solution for:

• A rural school or church, with no local recording service available

• A recording venue with inadequate or obsolete recording equipment

• An ensemble going on tour, wishing to capture its concerts in world-class venues

Through the “Self-Serve” concert recording service, choirs everywhere can draw on the expertise and quality of SoundByte Studios without bringing in a technician.

Here’s how the program works:
Approximately two days before your concert, the recording equipment will be delivered to your school, church, or performing venue.  The equipment we use for this service is pro-line, digital recording equipment.  We send everything you will need, including detailed operation instructions, and recording tips from our engineers.  Once your concert, recording session, or tour is complete, you simply pack the equipment back into its crate and ship it back to SoundByte, where your recording will be edited, mastered, and assembled into a CD Master.

Also included in this service is the acclaimed SoundByte Studios design and production service.  By producing and selling a CD recording of your concert, you can easily recover the costs of this service (Costs can be recovered by selling as few as 20 CDs!), and give your choir members a lasting souvenir.
