Every project completed by SoundByte Studios is custom tailored to the individual client's needs.  As a result, we have no "standard" pricing structure.  However, our billing breaks down into specific categories:

Service Fee

Our recording, arranging, or editing services are billed as fees.  Based upon the details of the project, we calculate the fee and quote it as a flat rate.  We feel that flat fee billing works far better for our clientele than an hourly rate or sliding scale.  It allows our clients to very accurately budget for their actual project expenses.

Production Charge

The second category in our presentations is the production charge: the cost of producing multiple copies of the recording.  Since we build the cost of the mechanical licensing and copyright registration into our CD prices, our initial quote on the production will be an estimate.  We will be able to provide a firm quote for CD production upon receipt of the recording repertoire.
